Renée Mill
Renée Mill is an occupational therapist and clinical psychologist, with 30 years of experience in developing people. One of her passions is enabling women to grow emotionally through the process of EMETT (Emotional Maturity Established Through Torah), a program devised by Miriam Adahan. In her EMETT classes, Renée inspires through offering Torah solutions, and contemporary psychological methods, to life’s daily struggles. What distinguishes these classes is that participants learn how to apply the concepts they learn to real life situations in a practical way.

I enjoyed your class yesterday on the topic of respect. You made it clear that respect is the foundation of all relationships and that without it they cannot develop and blossom. If this is true what happens if I have lost respect for the other person? Is respect possible to regain and could it happen if only one person is trying?

Rabbi, do you know why I don't go to shul? I used to go, but I started to notice that in my shul, the rich people get more noticed and average people like me were overlooked. So I stopped going. If you need to be wealthy to be respected I want no part of it. Am I right or wrong?

Civilian Casualties In Times of War
Question: Israel's policy in combating terrorists is to do whatever it takes to avoid civilian casualties. Terrorists take advantage of western sensibilities embedding themselves within civilian populations using them as human shields. Over the years Israel has lost many soldiers in its attempts to reduce civilian casualties. What is the Torah's view on this complex issue?
